Junior Leadership Team

Our Junior Leadership Team is a group of pupils, democratically selected from each class, who work together to improve the school and wider community.

For pupils to be elected as a Junior Leader they must present a short speech to their class, suggesting why they should represent them as their Junior Leader. As representatives of the school, Junior Leaders elected must demonstrate our Aim High values consistently.

What is the aim of the Junior Leadership Team?

-ensure the children have a voice to raise any points which matter to them

-aim to improve the school from the pupils’ point of view

-aim to have a positive impact on the wider community and world

What does The Junior Leadership Team do?

-meet with SLT at the start of the school year to discuss the school development plan and how the leaders vision the school improvement

-have time with their class to discuss current points and ideas

-have regular meetings with SLT throughout the year

Why do we have a Junior leadership Team?

The Junior Leadership Team has three key priorities which guide their discussions and agendas:
